We are a team of experienced researchers and educators who are passionate about involving citizens in the scientific research process.
Susan is a geographer and Associate Professor in the DCU School of History and Geography. Her research focuses on citizen science for monitoring water quality, and on the evolution of the Irish landscape and our use of that landscape.
Mary a geomorphologist and Associate Professor at Trinity College Dublin. Her research interests lie in Nature-based Solutions to extreme events (floods, landslides, storms).
Michael is a computer scientist and Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Engineering and Computing at Dublin City University. His research interests include educational technologies, green transition, data engineering and analysis.
Isabel is a research assistant. She is studying Climate and Environmental Sustainability at DCU and has just finished her second year in this course. She is deeply committed and passionate about protecting the environment and combating climate change.
Jayden is a research assistant who is studying Geographic Information Science and Environmental Planning at the University of Iowa. She is interested in the applications of GIS in terms of environmental planning and protection.
Katherine is a research assistant currently studying Climate and Environmental Sustainability at DCU. She is interested in our environment and how we can protect it for future generations. Katherine wanted to get involved with this project because it involves public participation through citizen science and will increase knowledge and general awareness about coastal erosion.
