Volunteer Health and Safety Checklist

·      Check the weather

·      Check the tide times using the tide tables provided

·      Let someone know where you are going and what time you will be back

·      Bring your phone with you and ensure it is fully charged

·      Don’t trespass on private property and do observe fences and boundaries

·      Maintain a safe distance from cliffs and slopes when walking, running kayaking etc along the coast

·      Watch out for falling materials e.g. rock or earth

·      Do not approach landslides or unstable slopes

·      If safe to do so, use the web application to upload an image and record the location of any landslides
